English and Spanish Classes for Parents

After the first session of English and Spanish classes for parents at FPG BILINGÜE , both groups celebrated with a delicious potluck.

3rd Grade PSA Commercials

Third graders read and took notes on different local government departments and services. They made storyboards, wrote scripts, and then filmed recruitments videos for those departments and services!

Donna Bell meets with FPGB stduents

Donna Bell, Chapel Hill councilwoman, visited FPG to speak to 3rd and 4th grade students about working in local government. The students are studying elections and democratic government, and teachers wanted them to hear about our system directly from one who works in it.

"Los Muertos" was a collaborative project between the FPG Bilingüe Believers and Beyond (extended  learning group) and professional artist Mary Carter Taub (and FPGB parent!). It represents the importance of knowing our roots -- where we've come from and where we are going.

"Los Muertos" fue una colaboración entre los estudiantes del Programa FPG Bilingüe Believers y Beyond (el grupo de aprendizaje extendido) y la artista profesional Mary Carter Taub (que también es mamá de 2 niños en FPGB). Representa la importancia de conocer nuestras raíces--saber de dónde vinimos para guiarnos en adónde vamos.
